What this hub covers

In Survive Lava for Animals, animals (also called pets by many players) are the income engines on your plot. You steal eggs, place them in the pen, hatch them, and collect cash while you are online or away — offline earnings keep ticking so short sessions still matter. This Players / Animals Hub explains how to think about the roster, then points you to biome stages and tier rankings.

Creator group: Collect ALL Animals. Experience released 6 September 2026, with millions of visits and small servers (about 7 players max). Competition for eggs is real; animal quality is how you win the long game.

Animal roles at a glance

  • Income anchors — highest stable cash generators for your current biome tier; keep these equipped and slotted
  • Stepping stones — early Grass/Desert hatches that fund treadmill time; sell when better eggs land
  • Collection / badge fillers — animals that help biome index or collection goals even if $/s is average
  • Dead weight — low earners occupying pen slots you need for a hotter egg; sell or replace

Exact names and rates shift with patches. Use the Animals Tier List for S/A/B/C guidance and the Hatch Animals guide for placement rules.

From egg to offline payout

  1. Train enough Speed on the treadmill / trampoline — Train Speed
  2. Steal an egg without dying to lava — Steal Eggs and Survive Lava
  3. Return to base, place, and hatch — Hatch Animals
  4. Expand pen capacity when full — Upgrades
  5. Revisit tiers as you unlock Desert, Beach, Underwater, Arctic, Jungle, Ancient, and Mythical — Eggs & Biomes and Biomes Guide

Offline earnings reward a filled pen of the best animals you can currently hatch. An empty pen earns nothing while you sleep.

Subpage

  • Biomes Guide — stage-by-stage expectations for Grass through Mythical

More animal-specific deep pages can branch from here as the roster is catalogued. Until then, combine this overview with the tier lists.

Pen management tips

  • Never leave eggs unplaced if slots exist — hatch delays waste offline time
  • When the pen is full, compare the new egg’s biome tier against your weakest animal before stealing again
  • Trails help you survive steals; animals pay the bills — balance both via Trails Tier List
  • After deaths, reclaim eggs only if lava timing and Speed still favor you
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Do animals earn money while I am offline?

Yes. Offline earnings are a core part of the loop. Fill the pen with the best animals you can hatch before you log off.

Should I keep every animal I hatch?

No. Sell or replace low earners when pen space is tight so higher-biome hatches can land. See the Animals Tier List.

Where do I see biome progression?

Open the Biomes Guide under this hub, and cross-check Eggs & Biomes in the Tier List Hub.

What is the difference between animals and trails?

Animals generate income in the pen. Trails boost movement for safer steals. Upgrade both using the Upgrades guide priorities.

Is this the same as other Collect ALL Animals games?

Systems rhyme with sister titles, but egg pools, lava timing, and shops are specific to Survive Lava for Animals.
